Over the 2020 Summer, the SIMRIT band also released 6 new singles, including the moody and epic music video to new release Some May Say. Last year, Jhené partnered with Viacom’s Get Schooled, an award-winning non-profit organization dedicated to using the power of media, technology and pop culture to motivate and inspire young people to engage in paths toward higher education. Together, Jhené and Get Schooled created #PennysPen, a platform for students and young children to express themselves through writing. The campaign was launched on National Writing Day and went viral, engaging over 45 million nationwide. Jhené went on to lead an intimate poetry workshop at the first ever Teen Vogue Summit in Los Angeles encouraging girls of all ages to discover how to heal through creative writing.

In December 2017, Jhené continued her movement by launching the W.A.Y.S foundation, an acronym for “Why aren’t you smiling,” in honor of her late brother. The foundation, intimately led by Jhené and her family, is dedicated to instill hope into the lives of those who desperately need help.

About Jhené Aiko:

Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Jhené Aiko was already more than a decade deep in the music game when she arrived at Def Jam in 2011 having been featured on singles, albums and mixtapes by A-listers like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Logic, J. Cole, and more. Jhené made history when her 2013 debut EP, Sail Out, became the biggest-selling EP in Def Jam history, earning RIAA-certified Gold status. The EP’s success was propelled when her sizzling BET award-winning and Grammy nominated Platinum crossover hit “The Worst” went #1 and the Childish Gambino-assisted hit single “Bed Peace” earned a RIAA-certified Gold nod. Keeping the momentum going, Jhené joined Drake on his 39-city North American Would You Like A Tour? after appearing with him on NBC Universal’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show. A year later, Jhené’s 2014 solo album Souled Out, entered the Soundscan R&B chart at #1 with “The Pressure,” described by Billboard as “an otherworldly neck-snapper.”

In 2016, Jhené collaborated with fellow multi-platinum Def Jam superstar Big Sean on their debut duo project, TWENTY88. Jhené went on to release her sophomore album Trip, a passion project more than a decade in the making, with a trio of personal expression in the form of a Movie, Album, and Poetry book (M.A.P.) detailing an alternate form of therapy to deal with the loss of her brother Miyagi Hasani Ayo Chilombo to cancer in 2012. The short film explores many themes and images suggesting what to anticipate with her album and has garnered over 1.7 million YouTube views to date.

Trip debuted at #1 on Billboard’s R&B Albums Chart and is now RIAA-certified Gold. Trip rose to critical acclaim after its September 2017 release with standout singles “Sativa” [featuring Rae Sremmurd] amassing over 130 million YouTube views and “While We’re Young,” both earing RIAA-certified Platinum plaques. A lifelong writer, Jhené completed her trifecta by releasing 2FISH (a poetry book), presenting an intimate portrait of herself as Penny, the nickname given by her grandfather, with excerpts pulled directly from her journals as a child. The book is now a Barnes & Noble Bestseller.

Jhené’s evolution into a pop culture icon includes a heavy presence in top fashion books like Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, CR Fashion Book, and Vogue, while gracing the covers of Status, Galore, and Nylon. She can be seen frequently attending fashion weeks around the globe as a fixture in the fashion world including Christian Dior, Roberto Cavalli, Chanel and more. Her interactive Trip exhibit was just recently showcased as an art installation and performance at Art Basel Miami 2017.

While Jhené has proved to be a trailblazer in the music, art, and fashion space, she has created a movement between amplifying the convergence of music, literature, philanthropy and personal well-being.

Passionate about Music and Sound as tools of self discovery and healing, Jeralyn founded Crystal Cadence, home of the Los Angeles Crystal Tones Singing Bowl Temple, where she also teaches The Sacred Science of Sound Crystal Alchemy Sound Healing Trainings, offers Mentorships and Transformational Voice.

Jeralyn works regularly as a Musician and Sound Healing Practitioner at Kamalaya, the Condé Nast Gold Wellness Sanctuary in Thailand. She was Keynote Presenter at the National Convention of ‘The Compassionate Friends’, and has performed her high vibrational music for Marianne Williamson, Gregg Braden, Anita Moorjani and Dr. Sue Morter. Jeralyn opened the Los Angeles Conscious Life Expo with the late Barbara Marx Hubbard and presented her concert “Forever Love” at the Science and Spirituality Conference in Canada and her new album “Vibrance” at the sold out Scientists, Mystics and Sages Conference alongside Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton and Joe Dispenza.

Testimonials

“We just wanted to send you a heartfelt THANK YOU for an amazing and inspiring presentation of speakers. Each and every one of the talks has been uplifting, re-assuring and illuminating, every one in multiple ways. We learned new things and were reminded of others already familiar and in resonance with. Each of the presentations contributed to and reinforced our ability in sharing the sacred science of sound with those in need of it. And as we know there are many, especially these days.

Thank you for your vision, time and energy that went into preparing this collection and for your succinct and professional presentation of it all. And needless to say a huge Thank You to all presenters for sharing their wisdom, strength and hope.”

“In a time of much uncertainty this series has given me a jumpstart on re-energizing myself, and showing me areas where it is still necessary to do some deeper personal work.  The talks have elevated me, had me in awe at times, and at others just pure bliss at being in the same energetic vibration as those speakers.  And also some well-earned and well-shed tears of clearance and release.

You yourself have inspired me to ‘aspire to what you have,’ which is the pure radiance that emanates from your soul.  Your heart is so open and loving and all-encompassing, and non-judgmental. What a privilege it has been to see you so many times over the course of these talks. Thank you so much for the work that you are doing for all of humanity.”

“It is such a gift and blessing to join this journey you have invited us to follow. I hope many enjoy the inspiration of these interviews. Everything resonates profoundly for me. I am with you from Denmark.”

“Thank you Jeralyn. The concert page is phenomenal. I was able to listen to some of the solstice music and meditation offerings today. They are incredible. Exactly what I was needing.”

“Your crystal bowls are amazing. So much light comes from them and the session you delivered with your bowls was beautiful. So much light and love.”

“To convey my gratitude – words seem immensely inadequate.

It has been profoundly transformational for me. It has been a deep deep time of letting the old ways melt away and the new create. I cocooned away to allow this process and having The Sacred Science of Sound has been the most sacred gift.

As I return each day to me, meet each aspect of me. The Sacred Science of Sound has been like a fireworks display. Boom after Boom of beautiful joyful vibration showering down, each containing another element of higher vibrational frequency. I look up at the sky and watch in awe and joy as more fireworks are let off.  (ease, grace, joy, wholeness, connection, compassion, respect, kindness, tenderness, truth, authenticity, vulnerability, gratitude, sovereignty, space, peace, quiet, unconditional love).

And each time, I’ve listened, I’ve cried tears of joy, tears of relief. Felt the joy of living. So gifted by what’s been given and in total gratitude of that, not to expect another magnificent boom to be released.

With my whole BEing I thank you. With deepest respect, deepest gratitude and deepest love.”

“This dash board has been fantastic, I am enjoying very much watching all the sessions I missed. I shared the series my friend in Tasmania who is also a Kundalini Yoga teacher and a gong player and she has been messaging me almost daily with excitement over who we have watched on the day and has been inspired to order some tuning forks. There has been so much to digest from what you have presented.”

“I cannot thank you enough for all the new avenues of sound exploration you have provided over the past 2 1/2 weeks. Every single talk and presentation, including yours today, was truly extraordinary, informative and fascinating. Each one is such a wealth of resources, and as such I am hoping it will be available for purchase. I cannot imagine the amount of time and effort that went into putting this all together, and I am so grateful for your loving spirit of sharing and generosity. Your beautiful smile, your calm voice and your thoughtful questions were an absolute delight.”

“What an amazing series and perfect timing. I needed so many of these messages during this pandemic. I have a whole new list of experts to follow! Thank you for helping me to raise my vibration.”

The series has been a free gift, a time to share the healing power of Music, Sound Vibration, and Energy Medicine as a way to honor my beloved son Dylan. I invite you to take the opportunity to purchase this amazing series for the benefit of an incredible 501(c)iii nonprofit, offering young people a unique degree program of education and service.

We have created The Dylan Sage Scholarship at the Minerva Schools at Keck Graduate Institute in San Francisco, an innovative new four-year college that offers bachelors and master’s degrees. Minerva’s mission is to nurture critical wisdom for the sake of the world; to teach practical knowledge, critical thinking and lifelong learning habits; and to teach students to use their education to make the world a better place.

Minerva has been instrumental in creating a successful online platform of teaching at the university level. One unique feature of their program is that after spending the freshman year in San Francisco, the students move together to a different world city every semester, such as Berlin, Buenos Aires, Seoul, London, and Taipei.

Minerva offers admission to any student who meets the admissions criteria regardless of the student’s financial background, and tuition is capped at $13,950/year, a fraction of what private universities charge. The majority of the students are on financial aid and come from over 60 countries. The school is operated by a 501(c)iii nonprofit, and every dollar raised goes straight to covering tuition and housing fees for students — no money from this purchase of our series will go for overhead or administration.

The young people who attend Minerva are an astonishing group of future leaders, innovators, public policy makers and game changers, who have a desire to devote themselves to being both good scholars and good citizens.

A fabulous example of service as an essential part of the Minerva education is the Class of 2019 that studied in Berlin in 2017, one year after Germany enacted its open-door migrant policy. Many of these immigrants needed to receive an education to allow them to integrate with German society, but they did not have the qualifications to attend German universities. As preparatory steps, an NGO compiled a list of online courses they could take to help them begin studying for university degrees, but many of the immigrants had trouble with them. A group of Minerva students created their own online course on how these immigrants can succeed in online courses. Now over 2000 people per year take this course, enabling them to become familiar with the format and learn how to successfully navigate a digital student experience before taking on more complex subject matter. I have been a part of the ceremonies for the first two graduating classes 2019 and 2020 and have been a professor for 14 years. Minerva is truly exceptional.

100% of your purchase price supports the Dylan Sage Scholarship fund. Our current scholarship recipients are two young men, one from Mongolia and one from Sweden, as well as a young lady from India. We look forward to enriching more bright minds with your assistance.

The Story Behind Sacred Science of Sound Live Event Graces Hollywood

You know there’s magic and grace aboard from the heavens when your very first interview series draws a Grammy Award-winning musician, world-renowned energy medicine experts, and revered NY Times Bestselling Authors.

That’s exactly what happened when Broadway and concert soloist, master alchemist, and sound healer, Jeralyn Glass, stepped way beyond her comfort zone with the encouragement of her beloved son from the other side, and put together a completely free Sacred Science of Sound online interview series creating a global network of empaths, authors, healers, doctors, musicians, and scientists for the betterment of all.

One by one a list of who’s who in the field of music, sound vibration, and energy medicine heard the message and came to the table to create one of the most enlightening, engaging and thorough conversations on healing through sound ever recorded.

With this success tucked into her heart and pocket, Jeralyn Glass has now organically created a live event that is garnering the same mystical momentum, energy, and specialness at Wanderlust in Hollywood, November 1 – 3. And you are invited!

Jeralyn Glass says of the event, “Quantum Science tells us we are made of Energy. As a musician grieving the loss of my only child, I know now that we are indeed made of energy, sound vibration and light. My son has confirmed this again and again with his communication. The online event inspired by him, was a magical spin into the unknown for me, into a deep and raw conversation about the power of music and sound vibration to heal, to connect in the ineffable, the places in us where words, touch, and medicines do not go, and cannot go. I am thrilled how this language of sound is breaking generational boundaries, and bringing harmony and peace.”

A Note from your Host:

Dear Friends of Sacred Sound,

I invite you to take the opportunity to purchase this amazing series for the benefit of an incredible 501c3, educating young people in a unique degree program of education and service.  There were many requests to be able to view the series again, and I gave much thought to creating the most honoring way to do this. I decided to use the money from the sale of the series to fund educational scholarships for young people. I have created The Dylan Sage Scholarship for future leaders at the  Minerva Schools at Keck Graduate Institute, in San Francisco, an innovative new four-year college that offers bachelors and master’s degrees. Minerva’s mission is to nurture critical wisdom for the sake of the world; to teach practical knowledge, critical thinking and lifelong learning habits; and to teach students to use their education to make the world a better place. One innovative feature of their program is that after spending their freshman year in San Francisco, the students move together to a different world city every semester, such as Berlin, Buenos Aires, Seoul, London, and Taipei. My dearest son Dylan would have loved to have received a college education from Minerva and I felt it most fitting that the sale of the series goes to fund education for bright young innovators and future leaders.

In the words of Dr. Daniel Levitin, New York Times best selling author, neuroscientist, musician and record producer, and Founding Dean of the Minerva College of Arts & Humanities:
I believe so strongly in our mission, that I left a tenured position and two endowed chairs at McGill University (the #1 public university in North America) to become the Founding Dean of Arts & Humanities. Our Founding Dean of Faculty left a tenured position at Harvard. Other professors and administrators have come to us from Stanford, Cambridge University, Penn, and other world leading institutions to apply what we learned in those positions to build Minerva.

We offer admission to any student who meets our admissions criteria regardless of the student’s financial background, and we cap tuition at $13,500/year, a fraction of what private universities charge. Even so, the majority of our students are on financial aid, and we rely on the support of donors like you to fund scholarships. Minerva is a 501(c)iii nonprofit, and so all contributions are tax-deductible, and every dollar we raise goes straight to students — we don’t take out any money for overhead or administration.
The young people who attend Minerva are an astonishing group of future leaders, innovators, public policy makers and game changers, who have a desire to devote themselves to being both good scholars and good citizens.

Students in San Francisco have worked with the homeless. Zichuen Chi, a student from China, is interested in economic policy and improving conditions in emerging economies. After spending a semester in Hyderabad, he says “Before Hyderabad, it was interesting to read about emerging markets in a textbook. When I was in Hyderabad, to see emerging markets in person felt different. The city is abound with opportunities for growth and development, and immersing in it gave me new perspectives on economic growth, cultures, and development.”
Minerva’s Class of 2019 studied in Berlin one year after Germany enacted its open-door migrant policy. Many of these immigrants need to receive an education to allow them to integrate with German society, but they did not have the qualifications to attend German universities. As preparatory steps, an NGO compiled a list of online courses they could take to help them begin studying for university degrees, but many of the immigrants had trouble with them. A group of Minerva students created their own online course on how these immigrants can succeed in online courses. Now, 1500 people per year take this course, enabling them to become familiar with the format and learn how to successfully navigate a digital student experience before taking on more complex subject matter.

Help us to help our students who come from more than 60 countries to obtain a top tier education, to become critical thinkers, and to learn how to make the world a better place.
